Multi-chamber pressure classification

Multi-cavity pressure vessels (such as the tube side and shell side of heat exchangers, jacketed vessels, etc.) are classified as the type of the vessel according to the high-class pressure cavity and used and managed according to this category. However, the design and manufacturing technical requirements should be proposed according to the respective categories of each pressure chamber. When classifying each pressure chamber, the design pressure shall be the design pressure of the pressure chamber, and the volume shall be the geometric volume of the pressure chamber.

1. Multi-medium container classification in the same cavity

When there are multiple media in a pressure chamber, the media is classified according to the higher group.

2. Classification of containers with very small media content

When the content of a hazardous substance in the medium is extremely small, it should be considered comprehensively according to its hazard degree and content, and the pressure vessel design unit shall determine the medium group.
