Under the background of the upgrading of industrial equipment in my country, the important application areas of metal pressure vessels, such as clean energy applications, new energy manufacturing, and seawater desalination equipment manufacturing, have been included in the “Current Priority Development Guide for High-Tech Industrialization Key Fields (2007) “Industrial Structure Adjustment Guidance Catalog (2005 Edition)”, the upgrading of downstream industries will definitely bring huge development opportunities and market prospects for the metal pressure vessel manufacturing industry.

According to the statistics of China Chemical Equipment Association, in 2007, there were 260 ASME-licensed manufacturers in my country, an increase of 33% over the previous year; as of June 2009, this number had increased to 390, ranking second in the world. Among them, Jiangsu Province has the largest number of license-holding companies at 126. After years of development, my country’s manufacturing industry has already possessed a considerable scale and strength foundation, providing a realistic possibility for foreign countries to transfer equipment manufacturing to my country.
