Electric boilers use electricity as energy source, use resistance heating or electromagnetic induction heating, heat medium water or organic heat carrier (heat transfer oil) through the heat exchange part of the boiler to a certain parameter (temperature, pressure), the outward output is rated A kind of thermal mechanical equipment of working fluid. The definition of boiler in the “Regulations on Safety Supervision of Special Equipment” revised and promulgated by the State Council: Boiler refers to a closed device that uses various fuels, electricity or other energy sources to heat the liquid contained to a certain parameter and carries a certain pressure. The scope is specified as pressure-bearing steam boilers with a volume greater than or equal to 30L; pressure-bearing hot water boilers and organic heat carrier boilers with outlet water pressure greater than or equal to 0.1MPa (gauge pressure) and rated power greater than or equal to 0.1MW. In other words, no matter what fuel is used, the specified range is the same, but the fuel heat source is different. Electric boilers must also follow the “Special Equipment Safety Supervision Regulations”.
For steam boilers with a volume greater than or equal to 30L, the user must register for the boiler use certificate at the local quality and technical supervision bureau, and accept the annual inspection of the use certificate every year.
For steam boilers with a volume less than 30L, we are accustomed to call them inspection-free small steam boilers (also called steam generators), and do not need to apply for a license. For atmospheric hot water boilers, no matter how large the volume is, there is no need to apply for a boiler license.
